Keith was born and raised in Metairie Louisiana and attended the University of New Orleans. He graduated in May of 1990 and entered the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant through the ROTC program. He was originally supposed to start pilot training that year, however, due to an excess of pilots in the Air Force in 1990, his pilot training date was delayed, and was sent to become an air traffic controller. He received his initial air traffic control training at Keesler Air Force Base Mississippi and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base North Carolina. After complaining training, He was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base Louisiana and became the Chief of Air Traffic Control Operations from 1991-1994. In 1994 He was notified that I would be attending Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus AFB Ms, and graduated with his Air Force pilot wings in 1995. He spent his entire career as a C130 pilot and had flying assignments at both Little Rock AFB Ar and Keesler AFB Ms. Keith is a Command Pilot and has four combat deployments to Southwest Asia. He retired in June of 2019 as the Commander of the 403 Operations Group at Keesler AFB with over 29 years of service. He is currently working as a military contractor for NOVA Technologies as a pilot instructor, training C-130 aircrew at Keesler AFB in the C-130J Weapons System Trainer (Simulator). Keith is currently in the 2022 Deacon Class and will be ordained on 25 June 2022. Keith and his wife Shelly have been members of Nativity Parish for over ten years.
